Cleaner air for calmer breathing
Asthma affects around 1 in 9 Australians. By removing the airborne triggers that set off symptoms, an Airdog helps make your home an easier place to breathe.
Why it matters in Australia
Asthma is one of Australia’s most common chronic conditions
Airborne triggers - dust mite debris, pollen, pet dander, mould spores and smoke - are among the most common causes of asthma flare-ups indoors, where most Australians spend the majority of their time.
Around 2.8 million Australians (about 11%) live with asthma.
ABS National Health Survey 2022 / AIHWAsthma hospitalisations in 2023–24 - 43% were children aged 14 or under.
AIHW / Asthma AustraliaAsthma is the leading cause of disease burden for children aged 1–9.

Common asthma triggers are airborne and microscopic. TPA® filtration captures them where ordinary cleaning can’t.
How Airdog helps
Patented TPA® filtration, down to 0.0146 microns
Where ordinary HEPA filters trap larger particles, Airdog’s Toxin Particle Annihilation (TPA®) technology charges and captures pollutants as small as0.0146 microns -around 20× finer than standard HEPA. Its five-step process targets the microscopic triggers that everyday cleaning leaves behind.
- Captures ultrafine particles, allergens and smoke - not just dust
- Washable, reusable filter plates - no filters to buy and bin

FAQ
Common questions
Can an air purifier help with asthma?
Air purifiers can reduce airborne asthma triggers such as dust mite debris, pollen, pet dander, mould spores and smoke. Reducing exposure to triggers is a recognised part of asthma management, alongside your prescribed treatment and action plan. An air purifier is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice.
Which Airdog is best for a bedroom?
For most bedrooms the X3D (up to 20 m²) is the popular choice; smaller rooms and nurseries suit the X1D (up to 10 m²). Take the 60-second quiz for a room-size match.
Is it safe to run overnight?
Yes. Airdog is CARB-certified ozone safe (ozone emission <0.01 ppm, undetectable) and runs quietly, so it’s suitable for use in bedrooms overnight.
Does it remove smoke as well as allergens?
Yes - TPA® captures fine particulate including bushfire and cooking smoke, as well as allergens down to 0.0146 microns.
